Draft Multimodal Recommendations

To provide a connected pedestrian network that serves people for transportation and recreation purposes, a connected and comfortable network of sidewalks, pedestrian pathways, and street crossings is necessary. Combined with Mesa’s extensive existing pedestrian network, the identified pedestrian needs create a more robust, connected, and comfortable walking network in Mesa. Many of the needs identified in this section can be incorporated in regular roadway maintenance activities.
