Welcome to the Mesa 2050 Transit Master Plan website! The City of Mesa, Arizona is currently working to update its Transit Master Plan.

The Transit Master Plan documents the state of transit in Mesa today and creates a roadmap for future transit investments through 2050.

This is the official website for the 2050 Transit Master Plan process where you can get updates on public participation opportunities, surveys, draft documents and more!

Mesa's Transit Master Plan: enhances existing transit and explores innovative transit programs for Mesa. It creates a road map to reach Mesa's short-term (2030) and long-term (2050) transit goals.

The City of Mesa has developed a vision for the transit system, in partnership with local leaders, stakeholders, and members of the public. Five goals were identified to help achieve this vision.

Vision Statement: Support a reliable, productive, and well-connected multimodal transit system that fosters economic growth, diversity, and inclusiveness for the City of Mesa. Goal: mobility and accessibility, connectivity, productivity, sustainability, safety and reliability.

Proposed Transit Improvements for Mesa

The City of Mesa has identified improvements for the Mesa transit system to meet current and future needs for the growing city. Recommendations are broken down by category in the maps shown below.
