Trees shade parking lots and businesses. Trees provide cooling shade around our homes or in HOA common areas. Trees Are Cool

The City of Mesa is nearing completion on design of the 10.5-mile Central Mesa Reuse Pipeline (CMRP) to deliver reclaimed water treated at the Northwest Water Reclamation Plant (NWWRP) to the Gila River Indian Community (GRIC) in exchange for Colorado River water supplies as part of an existing exchange agreement. This project will add essential infrastructure to help maximize the City&rsquo;s diverse water portfolio. <iframe src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/817379983?h=dfa2dda11e" width="375" height="211" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen=""></iframe><script src="https://player.vimeo.com/api/player.js"></script>Construction is scheduled to begin in Summer 2023 and be complete in Spring 2025. Central Mesa Reuse Pipeline

Mesa City Council, with the support of the community, adopted a <a href="https://www.mesaaz.gov/residents/environmental/climate-action-plan" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Climate Action Plan</a> with a key aspirational goal of carbon neutrality by the year 2050. Electrifying transportation and adopting electric vehicles (EVs) is an important strategy to achieve this goal.For this reason, the City is undertaking the development of a Communitywide Electric Vehicle Adoption Master Plan. The Plan will help guide decisions on policy and infrastructure investments that accelerate the community transition to EVs.This project page will serve as the central location for information about the plan as it is developed. Mesa Community Electric Vehicle Adoption Project
